Owl Post (It) #11
...There comes a certain self-abandonment when we put everyone ahead of ourselves, and everything else above our own needs.
Calendars fill up with obligations, which can cause anxiety, depression, burnout, and in a way, a violation of our own core boundaries.
What gets in the way? Why do we play this game of putting everyone's priorities above our own?
If you are doing it to the point where you feel:
-Depleted
-Empty
-Numb
-Resentful
You have gone too far!
We don't need to get to that point.
We don't need to be walking, depleted versions of ourselves.
Where can you start honoring your "no"?
Where can you start honoring your "yes" to self?
My number one tip is to:
Choose at least one activity in the next 48 hours that does not support one of your top 5 priorities that will feel good to let go of, and cancel it!
If you want to dive deeper into this topic, and open up a deeper understanding of honoring your "yes" and your "no", and claiming the empowerment and confidence of trusting and honoring yourself, DM me or comment "BURNOUT" and I guarentee we can get you feeling back to your fabulous, empowered self!
I am cheering you on!
XOXO,
Coach Coop
